A Life of Service, Faith, and Family
Air Force veteran, former state trooper and rescue paramedic, and family man whose life of service has been carried by faith.

A Southern California Family Built on Service
Scott Lacey grew up in Southern California, the son and grandson of police officers. Their example taught him that service is more than a job title—it is a commitment to show up for others, especially on their hardest days.
After college, Scott married his wife and began an active-duty career in the U.S. Air Force. He served as a fire control officer and in developmental test on the AC-130W Stinger II gunship, rising to Captain and deploying to Afghanistan five times.
He later served five years in Arizona law enforcement, including four years as a state trooper in West Phoenix and one year as a search and rescue paramedic trooper. While continuing in the Air Force Reserve, he was promoted to Major and deployed twice to Korea for exercises.

Faith and Family First
Faith in God has been the constant through every chapter of Scott’s life, and it is stronger today than it has ever been. It carried him through combat deployments, law enforcement, rescue calls, setbacks, and the long work of rebuilding.
After leaving Arizona law enforcement, Scott brought his family home to Apple Valley, California. Today he supports the federal government as a defense contractor and puts faith, family, service, perseverance, and accountability first.
Scott Lacey: A Life of Service
Scott Lacey was raised in Southern California in a family where service was a way of life. His father and grandfather were both police officers, and their example shaped his sense of duty early. Scott learned that service means showing up for others, treating people with dignity, and doing the job right.
After college, Scott married his wife and began an active-duty career as an officer in the United States Air Force. He served as a fire control officer and in developmental test on the AC-130W Stinger II gunship, rising to Captain and deploying to Afghanistan five times. Those years forged his leadership, precision, and commitment to his crew and the people they protected.
After active duty, Scott followed his family’s law enforcement tradition and served five years in Arizona. For four years he worked as a state trooper in West Phoenix, handling highway patrol, traffic enforcement, crash investigation, and emergencies. He then served for a year as a search and rescue paramedic trooper, combining law enforcement and emergency medicine to help people who were lost, injured, or stranded.
Scott continued serving in the Air Force Reserve while working in law enforcement. He was promoted to Major and deployed twice to Korea to support major exercises and alliance readiness. Throughout those years, he balanced his badge, his commission, and his growing family.
Scott eventually brought his family home to Apple Valley, California. Today he is a defense contractor supporting the federal government, continuing a lifetime of service in a new role while enjoying more time with his wife and three children.
Faith comes first in Scott’s life. It has carried him through war, failure, setbacks, and seasons of rebuilding. Raising a family, including a daughter with special needs, has deepened his gratitude and trust in God. His faith shapes how he leads, serves, and treats people.
Beyond work, Scott is a private pilot, community advocate, preparedness creator, and local history storyteller. He runs the Lacey Family Farm YouTube channel and is writing Rebuilt: What War, Failure, and Faith Taught Me About Leading Well, a book for young men seeking a better path.
